2nd Berlin-Bochum Symposium

The Berlin-Bochum Memory Alliance's 2nd symposium took place on the 20th and 21st March at the Charite campus in Berlin. Over 100 researchers from the SFB 1315, SFB 1280, RDN-Ruhr University Bochum and the FOR 2812 took part in the event, which was a great success. The program consisted of an invted talk by Lisa Genzel, a PhD symposium, poster sessions, speed dating, collaboration meetings etc.

The first two symposia that took place in 2021 and 2022 were held virtually due to the pandemic. Everyone was very excited to finally get to meet other members in person. Here are some of the FOR 2812 members in action and some pictures of the beautiful campus.

The research unit FOR 2812 "Constructing scenarios of the past: A new framework in episodic memory" is a project funded by the German Research Foundation (Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft, DFG). The research unit studies the cognitive and neuronal mechanisms underlying scenario construction in episodic memory. We employ and integrate approaches from Philosophy, Psychology, and Experimental and Computational Neuroscience.
