PhD Position in Philosophy of Information and Communication

The research group Philosophy of Information and Communication (Jun.-Prof. Dr. Kristina Liefke) is inviting applications for a PhD position (3 years, 65%=25,8895 hours/week, TV-L E13) in philosophy of language, experimental philosophy, and/or semantics. The starting date is October 1, 2022 (negotiable). The position is part of the DFG project Episodic Memory Reports: Language-based evidence for experientiality, perspectivity, and generativity (PIs Kristina Liefke & Markus Werning. The latter is project P10 of the interdisciplinary research group FOR 2812: Constructing Scenarios of the Past: a new framework for episodic memory.

POSTDOC POSITION IN THE PHILOSOPHY OF MEMORY FOR 2 YEARS (EXTENDABLE) WITH 39.83 HOURS PER WEEK (TVL E13)

The Chair of Philosophy of Language and Cognition (Professor Dr. Markus Werning) offers a temporary postdoctoral position (2 years, 100% TV-L E13) in the philosophy of memory, starting October 1, 2022, or as soon as possible. The position is a research position in project P3 of the DFG research group FOR 2812 "Constructing Scenarios of the Past: A New Framework of Episodic Memory".

The research unit FOR 2812 "Constructing scenarios of the past: A new framework in episodic memory" is a project funded by the German Research Foundation (Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft, DFG). The research unit studies the cognitive and neuronal mechanisms underlying scenario construction in episodic memory. We employ and integrate approaches from Philosophy, Psychology, and Experimental and Computational Neuroscience.
